Our boxes are built to last longer and look better doing it.  You can purchase the "value" boxes from other sellers, and you will become a great repeat customer for them as you replace them every couple of years.

• Select Redwood is chosen and used

• When pressure treated wood is used, it tends to twist and warp and create splinters in all of the "injection holes".

• Chemically pre-washed to reduce staining from the wood's Tanin release.

• Composite, non-rotting, wood is used as the base ground contact layer to prevent rotting at ground contact.

• Edges are bevel cut for appearance and design

• Top rail joints are gapped to allow for expansion and contraction throughout the year.

• Stainless steel rods with decorative plates support the side walls to prevent "bowing" from the weight of the saturated soil.

• Heavy duty liner protects the internal frame work from rotting from the inside out.

• All hidden fasteners: no unsightly screw holes that allow rain to pool and rot. No screw holes to create splinter areas.  All fasteners are either stainless steel or exterior grade coated screws. No nails, no staples, no band straps.
